Ben & Jerry’s FREE Ice Cream Cone Day

This spring promotion was active earlier this year but has NOT been confirmed for 2024. I will keep watching to see if it or a similar offer returns. As soon as I receive further information, this page will be updated. Be sure to check back often!

After a LONG 3 year hiatus, FREE Ice Cream Cone Day returns to Ben & Jerry’s! This annual event began in 1979 when Ben and Jerry celebrated their first year of business. Be sure to stop by and join the party with a free ice cream cone in your choice of flavor. Mark your calendars because Free Cone Day only comes once a year. This year, the special date is April 3. Be sure to tell your friends & family. Better yet: bring ’em with and enjoy free Ben & Jerry’s ice cream in the spirit of togetherness!

Offer valid on Monday, April 3 at participating locations. The last Free Cone Day was held from 12:00PM-8:00PM. I will update with 2023 hours when the information becomes available. Not valid in conjunction with any other coupon or special promotional discount. Most Ben & Jerry’s ice cream shops will be open holiday hours on Memorial Day (Monday, May 29.)

McDonald’s Shamrock Shake Price & Availability

As expected, McDonald’s has brought back their ever-popular Shamrock Shake for St. Patrick’s Day. In 2023, the Shamrock Shake celebrates it’s 53rd Anniversary! This minty masterpiece returned to restaurants on Monday, February 20.

As in previous years, it comes in 3 sizes: small, medium, and large. Unfortunately, inflation has hit the Shamrock Shake this year: medium shakes now go for around $3.90 in most markets. This represents a price increase of approximately 11% over last year. The cost of all sizes varies by market. At my local McDonald’s, pricing is as follows:

– Small Shamrock Shake $2.59 (was $2.49 last year)
– Medium Shamrock Shake $3.89 (was $3.49 last year)
– Large Shamrock Shake $4.29 (was $3.89 last year)

How long will McDonald’s Shamrock Shake be available? At least through St. Patrick’s Day and probably through the end of March. In past years, last call occurred around Easter Sunday. This is the same time the Filet-O-Fish Lent promotions end. If you really want to do it up right, get to McDonald’s for a Filet-O-Fish Friday, paired with a Shamrock Shake!

Red Lobster Lobsterfest Price Dates Menu

Red Lobster’s Lobsterfest has returned early for 2023! This year, there are 16 great lobster entrées, including two NEW dishes. All at affordable prices:

– Lobster Lover’s Dream with Shrimp Alfredo

– Live Maine Lobster (1.25 Lb.)

– Ultimate Feast
– Seafarer’s Feast

Pricing varies by market and menu item. Lobster Lover’s Dream is around $52 in most areas, up from $44 last year. Live Maine Lobster can be had for about $35. Again, actual price depends on which Red Lobster restaurant you’re dining at. This year’s end date for Lobsterfest has not yet been announced. Usually, it runs through mid-April.

All Lobsterfest menu entrées come with with your choice of salad and unlimited Cheddar Bay Biscuits. Don’t miss Red Lobster’s Lobsterfest, available at participating locations. Yes, you CAN use your coupons in conjunction with this promotion. Most Red Lobster seafood restaurants will be holiday hours on Easter Sunday, April 9.
