UPDATE: MANY of you have been asking “When can we get a McRib?” It has returned as of October 31 and should be available for 3 weeks at most locations. Final day is scheduled for Sunday, November 20. Price varies by area. At my local McDonald’s, sandwich only is priced at $4.99. The McRib Meal (sandwich, fries, and a drink) costs $8.79 with medium fries or $9.19 with large fries. Use the app special below to get a Medium Meal for the price of a sandwich!
It appears Micky D’s 2 for $6 has been discontinued. However, there are 9 inflation-fighting McDonald’s mobile app offers happening in November:
– FREE Quarter Pounder with Cheese, Big Mac, or 10pc Chicken McNuggets when you buy one at regular price
– FREE Double Cheeseburger or 6pc Chicken McNuggets when you buy one at regular price
– FREE Medium Fries and Medium Drink with purchase of a McRib
– 99 Cent any size Premium Roast or Iced Coffee
– $1.00 Breakfast Sandwich
– $1.00 Large Fries
– $2.00 10pc Chicken McNuggets
– 4 for $4: McDouble, McChicken or Hot’n Spicy McChicken and 4pc Chicken McNuggets, Medium Soft Drink, and Small Fries
– 20% off any purchase of $2.00 or more (excludes tax)
All of these deals are available exclusively on McDonald’s Mobile App. Limit 1 per person per day at participating restaurants. Specific promotional offers may vary by location.
I will keep watching to see if 2 for $6 or a similar offer returns. As soon as I receive further information, this page will be updated. Be sure to check back often! Select McDonald’s restaurants will be open holiday hours on Thanksgiving Day (Thursday, November 24.)
INFLATION ALERT: The price of this McDonald’s promotion has increased from $4.39 last year to $4.99 at most locations.
The elusive McRib sandwich has returned to McDonald’s menu! It pops up occasionally in certain parts of the country, usually during the winter months or around Thanksgiving-Christmas-New Years when diners are looking for an inexpensive warm meal. This year marks the 41st Anniversary of the McRib. It was first introduced at a Kansas City, Kansas Micky D’s back in November, 1981.
Walking by my local McDonald’s yesterday, I noticed the posters on the windows proclaiming this most blessed event! This pork patty sandwich with pickles and onions is actually very good and well worth the price which remains under $5 at most locations. In my town, a McRib sandwich only is priced at $4.99. The McRib Meal (sandwich, fries, and a drink) costs $8.79 with medium fries or $9.19 with large fries.
If you want “something different” next time you’re at McDonald’s, get your hands on a McRib! This promotion is available through November 20th at participating restaurants. Prices may vary by location. Not available after midnight. Select McDonald’s restaurants will be open holiday hours on Thanksgiving Day (Thursday, November 24.)
This fall promotion was active earlier this year but has NOT been confirmed for 2023. I will keep watching to see if it or a similar offer returns. As soon as I receive further information, this page will be updated. Be sure to check back often!
McDonald’s is celebrating National Cheeseburger Day. Yes, it’s a real holiday! To prove it, they will be offering FREE Double Cheeseburgers through the McDonald’s app with any $1.00 purchase.
Enjoy a complimentary Micky D’s Double Cheeseburger on September 18th. Current menu price at my local McDonald’s is $2.99, so this is quite the deal! No coupon required, but you must use the app on your phone to order. Don’t miss National Cheeseburger Day and FREE Double Cheeseburgers this Sunday at your neighborhood McDonald’s.
Offer valid only on Sunday, September 18, 2022 at participating restaurants. Limit one free Double Cheeseburger per person. Not valid in conjunction with any other coupon or special promotional discount. Most McDonald’s restaurants will be open regular hours on Columbus Day (Monday, October 10.)
OCTOBER 2022 UPDATE: Looks like we’re out of luck so far regarding Filet-O-Fish promotions. The new mobile app specials have been released. Our favorite fish sandwich was not included this month. There is a “20% off any purchase of $2 or more” offer which may work for you. This one is valid once per day. If a better deal pops up before the end of the month, I’ll update this page ASAP!
McDonald’s Filet-O-Fish deals have been happening for at least 50 years. I’m 57 and can remember when they were just 49 cents! Over the years, the promotional price has increased gradually: 59 cents, 79 cents, 99 cents, 2 for $2, 2 for $2.22, 2 for $3, 2 for $3.33, 2 for $4, and 2 for $4.44. Last year, 2 for $5 was a common sale price. In many areas, the Filet-O-Fish was available as part of McDonald’s 2 for $5 Mix & Match Deal. Originally, the special pricing was only available during the weeks leading up to Good Friday and Easter. More recently, we’ve been seeing Filet-O-Fish specials year-round!
Here we go with a May BOGO! Check your phone for “FREE Quarter Pounder with Cheese, Big Mac, 10pc Chicken McNuggets or Filet-O-Fish when you buy one” deal! There is a limit of 1 offer per person per visit. Valid once per day through May 29 in select markets. This offer is only valid when you order through the mobile app.
Bad news: McDonald’s 2 for $5 “Mix and Match” promotion has been retired due to soaring inflation. It has been rebranded as the 2 for $6 Mix and Match. As with the mobile app deal above, the Mix and Match special includes Filet-O-Fish. Be sure to ask before ordering since this offer is not available in all areas.
I’m still waiting for the return of Filet-O-Fish Friday but haven’t seen it yet. We’ll keep our eyes peeled for more cheap Filet-O-Fish sandwiches and let you know what we find. Be sure to check this page often. If YOU spot a deal at your local McDonald’s that’s better than 2 for $6, please let us know!
INFLATION ALERT: Some McDonald’s restaurants no longer offer $1 drinks. Availability of this promotion now varies by location.
