As expected, McDonald’s has brought back their ever-popular Shamrock Shake for St. Patrick’s Day. In 2020, the Shamrock Shake celebrates it’s 50th Anniversary! This minty masterpiece returned to restaurants on Wednesday, February 19.
As in previous years, it comes in 3 sizes: small, medium, and large. Back in the day, you could get one at any Micky D’s restaurant. This is no longer the case. Your local McDonald’s may or may not be offering them. How do you know whether or not you can get one in your neighborhood? Simple! Just download the exclusive Shamrock Shake Finder app. It’s free on Google Play (Android) or from the Apple App Store (iPhone.)
If you’re on a budget, you can get a Small Shamrock Shake for $2.00 in most markets. This is because it is technically a McCafe Shake. All small McCafe drinks carry a $2 price tag as part of McDonald’s $1 $2 $3 Dollar Menu. Medium and large pricing varies by market. Typically, a medium shake is around $2.50 while a large sells for about $3.00.
How long will McDonald’s Shamrock Shake be available? At least through St. Patrick’s Day and probably through the end of March. In past years, last call occurred around Easter Sunday. This is the same time the Filet-O-Fish Lent promotions end. If you really want to do it up right, get to McDonald’s for a Filet-O-Fish Friday, paired with a Shamrock Shake!
