It’s that time of year when fast food restaurants start running their spring/lenten fish sandwich promotions! Burger King gets into the game with their Big Fish. This is a big sandwich, made with 100% White Alaskan Pollock. While “fish season” lasts, you’re invited to enjoy the Big Fish as part of Burger King’s 2 for $5 Mix and Match deal.

The Flame Grilled Chicken Burger, Big King Sandwich, Extra Long Cheeseburger, and Original Chicken Sandwich are also part of this offer. Mix and match any two. Pay just $5.00 for both.

Offer valid for a limited time at participating locations. Most Burger King restaurants will be open regular hours on Good Friday, March 25 and closed on Easter Sunday, March 27.

Checkers Rally’s 79 Cent Hot Dogs

McDonald’s $1.79 Filet-O-Fish Friday

This is what I call “Cheap Filet-O-Fish Season.” It’s that magic time of year when McDonald’s drops the price of their Filet-O-Fish sandwiches at many locations across the U.S. I have good news and bad news for the current Lenten season. First, the bad news: I have seen fewer deals this year vs in the past. The special spring Filet-O-Fish offer is not a national promotion. Pricing and availability varies by restaurant and region. So far, there just aren’t as many discounted deals this year as there used to be. Hopefully, this will change as we get closer to Good Friday and Easter Sunday.

The GOOD news is that Micky D’s in southern California is repeating their $1.79 Filet-O-Fish Fridays. This is the same price as last year and qualifies as one of the best fish sandwich deals available. The catch is that it’s ONLY available for 7 Fridays and ONLY at select locations. These are the dates:

– Friday, February 26, 2016
– Friday, March 4, 2016
– Friday, March 11, 2016
– Friday, March 18, 2016
– Friday, March 25, 2016

Most of the Los Angeles metro area restaurants are honoring this promotion. If one fish sandwich isn’t enough but two are too much, you can add an extra fish patty for just $1.00. Coco’s St. Patrick’s Day Menu & Prices

This year, celebrate St. Patrick’s Day at Coco’s Bakery Restaurant this year. Everyone’s a little bit Irish on March 17, so it would be a shame not to indulge in some St. Pattie’s Day feasting! Coco’s features a complete Corned Beef & Cabbage dinner with all the trimmings for just $12.49. If you’re not quite that traditional, enjoy a Hot Corned Beef Sandwich for only $9.49.

If you can’t make it on St. Patrick’s Day, no worries. Both of these menu specials are valid all week long, so they’re ready whenever you are. Serving starts at 11:00AM each day and continues until they run out. St. Patrick’s Day becomes St. Patrick’s Week at Coco’s Bakery Restaurant. Most locations will be open holiday hours on Easter Sunday, April 5.
