There are 5 times each year to buy chips and soda pop: the week before Memorial Day, Independence Day (July 4), Labor Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas/New Year’s. Many stores will sell sodas and chips at or below cost during these times. The purpose is to get you into the store where they hope you will then purchase all your other holiday groceries and party items from them.
Fortunately for us, Walgreens is having a Memorial Day Sale on both of these items:
– Doritos or Lay’s potato chips, 9.50-10.25 ounce bags, $1.88. NO limit.
– Blue Diamond Almonds, 16 ounce bags, $5.99. NO limit.
– Coke/Diet Coke/Pepsi/Diet Pepsi/Diet Dr. Pepper: 12 pack cans, 3 for $10.00 or $4.99 each. Limit 3.
– Aquafina purified water: 24 pack of 16.9 ounce bottles, $3.99 each. Limit 4.
Offers valid May 21-27, 2017 at participating locations. No coupon required for these deals. Most Walgreens stores will be open holiday hours on Memorial Day (Monday, May 29) and open holiday hours on Independence Day (Tuesday, July 4.) Some are open 24 hours.
