There are 5 times each year to buy soda pop and potato chips: the week before Memorial Day, Independence Day (July 4), Labor Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas/New Year’s. Many stores will sell sodas and chips at or below cost during these times. The purpose is to get you into the store where they hope you will then purchase all your other holiday groceries and party items from them.
Target is featuring Coke products, four 12 packs for $11.00 in select markets. That’s just $2.75 each! Given the substantial price increases we’ve seen on soda over the past few years, this is about as cheap as you’ll find Coke 12 packs. According to the newspaper insert, there doesn’t appear to be a limit on these. So, stock up at the 4 for $11 sale price. Make sure you have enough to last until Labor Day! You must purchase 4 to get this deal. Otherwise, the price is $3.49 per 12 pack.
Lay’s Potato Chips are sale priced at 2 for $4, or $2.00 each. This is for the standard size bag, described in the ad as 10-10.5 ounces.
Both offers are valid through July 4, 2015 at participating locations. No coupon required. Most Target stores will be open holiday hours on Independence Day (Saturday, July 4th) and open holiday hours on Labor Day (Monday, September 7.) Don’t miss the annual Target 4th of July Sale!
