It didn’t happen in 2024, so we are waiting anxiously to see if McDonald’s brings back their “Cold Days, Hot Deals” lunch and dinner promotion for 2025. As you may recall, this deal gave you a Quarter Pounder with Cheese for yesterday’s temperature at noon when you purchased one at the regular menu price. For instance, if it was 7 degrees at 12PM yesterday, you would buy one Quarter Pounder at regular price and receive the second for just 7 cents.
As you would expect, this offer was limited to select northern markets. A variation at some locations provided the same deal on an Egg McMuffin. If temperature at noon was 0 or below zero, your second QPC or Egg McMuffin was free. Needless to say, this is a great winter promotion. We’re hoping that Mickey D’s brings it back next year.
