These broadcasts actually air on three separate frequencies: 1490 AM, 1640 AM, and 106.3 FM. Only the FM frequency is promoted, but this is a low power translator for WANG-AM 1490 with limited coverage. It is strongest in Gulfport and west Biloxi. If you can’t hear 106.3 clearly, try WTNI-AM 1640. With 10,000 watts during the day, they can be heard all along the Coast from eastern Louisiana to western Alabama. At night, the 1640 signal can be heard across much of the southeastern U.S. You can also listen online from your phone or computer.
