Arby’s 2 for $6 Mix ‘n Match Fish Sandwich

Arby’s Crispy Fish Sandwich needs no introduction. This one shows up every year between Lent and Easter Sunday. For 2024, they’ve brought it back early! Wild-caught Alaskan Pollock, crispy-fried to golden-brown perfection. Topped off with tartar sauce and shredded lettuce, served on a sesame seed bun.

The Crispy Fish Sandwich is now part of Arby’s 2/$6 Mix ‘n Match Menu, along with Arby’s Classic Roast Beef. Current menu price in my area is $5.19 Fish ‘n Cheddar, $4.89 Crispy Fish, and $4.79 Classic Roast Beef. Needless to say, this is a great deal. The Classic Roast Beef pricing is actually lower than their recent 2 for $7 promotion.

This year, Arby’s is also offering their Fish ‘N Cheddar sandwich, topped with zesty melted cheese. It disappeared a few years ago, but has returned for the 2024 Lent season. Enjoy a Crispy Fish Sandwich or Fish ‘n Cheddar Sandwich for just $3 when you take advantage of the 2/$6 Mix ‘n Match Menu. If you’re not a fish lover, Arby’s Classic Roast Beef is also available at the same price. Available at participating locations. Most Arby’s restaurants will be closed Easter Sunday, March 31.

McDonald’s Shamrock Shake Price & Availability

As expected, McDonald’s has brought back their ever-popular Shamrock Shake for St. Patrick’s Day. For 2024, the Shamrock Shake celebrates it’s 54th Anniversary! This minty masterpiece returned to restaurants on Monday, February 5.

As in previous years, it comes in 3 sizes: small, medium, and large. Unfortunately, inflation has hit the Shamrock Shake this year: medium shakes now go for around $4 in most markets. However, the price increases for 2024 are less than last year. The cost of all sizes varies by market. At my local McDonald’s, pricing is as follows:

– Small Shamrock Shake $2.89 (was $2.59 last year)
– Medium Shamrock Shake $3.99 (was $3.89 last year)
– Large Shamrock Shake $4.59 (was $4.29 last year)

How long will McDonald’s Shamrock Shake be available? At least through St. Patrick’s Day and probably through the end of March. In past years, last call occurred around Easter Sunday. This is the same time the Filet-O-Fish Lent promotions end. If you really want to do it up right, get to McDonald’s for a Filet-O-Fish Friday, paired with a Shamrock Shake! Most McDonald’s restaurants will be open holiday hours on Easter Sunday, March 31.

Red Lobster’s Ultimate Endless Shrimp 2023 is here! Price is $20.00 per person at most locations which is actually lower than last year. Here’s how this compares to recent years:

– 2020: Endless Shrimp cancelled due to COVID-19
– 2019: $15.99 every day

Missouri Show Me Green Energy Sales Tax Holiday

Don’t miss this year’s Missouri Show Me Green (Energy Star) Sales Tax Holiday when shopping for appliances. This annual tax free event takes place over 7 days:

Friday, April 19

Thursday, April 25

On these dates, sales of qualifying Energy Star certified new appliances up to $1,500 will be exempt from Missouri state sales tax. If the purchase price is over $1,500, the first $1,500 is exempt from state sales tax and the remaining amount over $1,500 is taxable at the full rate. Local jurisdictions (cities and counties) can choose to participate in the Show Me Green Sales Tax Holiday. All items MUST be ENERGY STAR labeled:

*According to the Energy Star website, trash compactors, conventional ovens, ranges and stoves do not receive an Energy Star rating. Therefore, although Missouri statute anticipates that some day they may receive the energy star rating, tax will continue to apply to purchases of these items during the upcoming Show Me Green Sales Tax Holiday.
