The Pizza Hut P’Zone Has Returned (Maybe?)

November 6, 2025

UPDATE: We’ve received several responses from readers, stating the P’Zone is not available at their local Pizza Hut. Apparently, it is now being offered only in certain markets. A “local favorite”, so to speak. If you find a location offering the Pizza Hut P’Zone, please let us know where and how much it costs. Thanks!

Do you remember the Pizza Hut P’Zone? It was first introduced about 20 years ago. It’s one of those “for a limited time” menu items that appears, disappears, then pops up again a few years later. This time, Pizza Hut has brought back the P’Zone and included it in their $5 ‘N Up Lineup menu.

What is a P’Zone? It’s basically a calzone filled with pizza! You can choose from 3 varieties:

– Pepperoni P’Zone
– Supremo P’Zone
– Meaty P’Zone

The Pepperoni P’Zone is the one included in the $5 ‘N Up Lineup menu. That’s where you purchase at least 2 items and pay just $5 or $6 each. If you just want one Pepperoni P’Zone, the price is $5.99. The Supremo and Meaty P’Zones are not available as part of the $5 deal. They will cost you $5.99 each.

As always, P’Zones are available for a limited time at participating locations. Prices may vary. If you can’t get them in your area or if your local store has different pricing, please let us know so we can pass it along to our readers.

Louisiana Hurricane Preparedness Sales Tax Holiday

November 6, 2025

Louisiana residents, I have some bad news: Louisiana will not be having a Hurricane Preparedness Sales Tax Holiday or tax free weekend in 2026. All purchases of emergency supplies will be subject to the normal combined state + county + city sales tax rate. In most areas, the total sales tax is between 9% and 10%.

In previous years, shoppers could purchase virtually any item for use during the upcoming hurricane season and receive a reduction of Louisiana state sales tax. Portable generators, flashlights radios, batteries, chargers, coolers, sheeting, ground anchor systems, storm shutter devices, blue ice products, carbon monoxide detectors, and fuel tanks were included.

Keep your fingers crossed and maybe (hopefully!) your legislators will reinstate the Louisiana Hurricane Preparedness Sales Tax Holiday for 2026.

Louisiana 2nd Amendment Hunting Sales Tax Holiday

November 6, 2025

Louisiana hunters, I have some bad news: Louisiana will not be having a Second Amendment Sales Tax Holiday or tax free weekend in 2026. All purchases of hunting supplies will be subject to the normal combined state + county + city sales tax rate. In most areas, the total sales tax is between 9% and 10%.

In previous years, sportsmen and women could purchase virtually any item for use during the upcoming hunting season and receive a 2% rate reduction of Louisiana state sales tax. Bows, arrows, clothing, tree stands, knives, decoys, binoculars and range finders, scopes, GPS, even ATVs (four wheelers) were included.

Keep your fingers crossed and maybe (hopefully!) your legislators will reinstate the Louisiana Second Amendment Sales Tax Holiday for 2026.
