Target BOGO Sale Doritos Lay’s Potato Chips

Usually, we don’t see the first chip sales of the season until a couple weeks before Memorial Day. This year, Target is getting the jump on it’s competitors by offering a Buy One Get One FREE deal on Doritos or Lay’s Potato Chips. Get two standard size bags (9.5-11 ounce) for just $3.79 in most markets. It’s Target’s WOW of the Week: BOGO Lay’s and Doritos chips.

Offer valid through May 10, 2014 at participating stores. Most Target locations will be open regular hours on Mother’s Day (Sunday, May 11) and open regular hours on Memorial Day (Monday, May 26.)

Target New Year’s Sale $2.75 Pepsi 12 Packs

There are 5 times each year to buy soda pop: the week before Memorial Day, Independence Day (July 4), Labor Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas/New Year’s. Many stores will sell sodas at or below cost during these times. The purpose is to get you into the store where they hope you will then purchase all your other holiday groceries and party items from them.

Target is featuring Pepsi, Diet Pepsi, Pepsi MAX, Sierra Mist Natural, Mountain Dew, Diet Mountain Dew, and other select varieties, four 12 packs for $11.00 in select markets. That’s just $2.75 each! Given the substantial price increases we’ve seen on soda pop over the past few years, this is about as cheap as you’ll find Pepsi 12 packs. According to the newspaper insert, there doesn’t appear to be a limit on these. So, stock up at the 4 for $11 sale price. Make sure you buy enough to last until Memorial Day!

Offer valid through January 4, 2014 at participating locations. No coupon required. Most Target stores will be open holiday hours on New Year’s Eve (Tuesday, December 31) and New Year’s Day (Wednesday, January 1, 2014.)

Target Labor Day Sale $2.00 Lay’s Potato Chips

There are 5 times each year to buy Tostitos, Doritos, and potato chips: the week before Memorial Day, Independence Day (July 4), Labor Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas/New Year’s. Many stores will sell chips at or below cost during these times. The purpose is to get you into the store where they hope you will then purchase all your other holiday groceries and party items from them.

It used to be pretty common to find chips on sale for $2 per bag during the pre-holiday sales. But food price inflation has taken it’s toll and prices have risen substantially over the past few years. This is also why the bags are smaller and/or weigh less than they used to. Don’t even get me started on that soapbox! Fortunately, Target comes to the rescue for Labor Day Weekend! Target is offering standard size bags of Lay’s Potato Chips, 2 bags for $4.00.

According to the newspaper insert, there doesn’t appear to be a limit on these. You’re not likely to find a cheaper price, so stock up now and make sure you have enough to last until Thanksgiving Day!
