– Clothing and certain clothing accessories. Rentals are excluded.
– Footwear.
– School supplies.
– Computers, printer supplies and computer software. Excludes items for commercial use.
– Bed and bath linens, shower curtains, bath mats and pillows.

Many stores will be having special back to school sales on eligible items in conjunction with the sales tax holiday. Walmart, Target, Belk, Shoe Carnival, Famous Footwear, Dillard’s, Sears, JCPenney, Neiman Marcus, Macy’s, Bloomingdale’s, Dick’s Sporting Goods, Marshalls, Kohl’s, Old Navy, Best Buy, Office Depot, Office Max, and Staples have frequent tax free weekend sales and back to school tax holiday promotions.
