Sunday, August 10

On these dates, you can purchase these items free of Texas state sales tax:

– Clothing and footwear priced at $100 or less per article. Excludes accessories, athletic or protective clothing, and rentals of clothing or footwear.
– Backpacks priced at $100 or less, used by elementary or secondary school students.
– School supplies priced at $100 or less per item.

Many stores will be having special back to school sales on eligible items in conjunction with the sales tax holiday. Walmart, Target, Belk, Shoe Station, Famous Footwear, Dillard’s, Sears, JCPenney, Dick’s Sporting Goods, Marshalls, Best Buy, Office Depot, Office Max, and Staples are all good bets for tax free weekend sales and special back to school tax holiday promotions.

On these dates, you can purchase these items free of Arkansas state AND local county and city sales tax:

– Clothing and footwear priced at less than $100 per article.
– Clothing accessories and equipment priced at less than $50 per item.
– School supplies, school art supplies, and school instructional materials.
– Calculator
– Cellular Phone
– Computer Monitor
– Computer Mouse
– Computer Keyboard
– Desktop Computer
– E-Reader
– Laptop Computer
– Printer
– Tablet

Many stores will be having special back to school sales on eligible items in conjunction with the sales tax holiday. Walmart, Target, Belk, Shoe Carnival, Famous Footwear, Dillard’s, Sears, JCPenney, Neiman Marcus, Macy’s, Bloomingdale’s, Dick’s Sporting Goods, Marshalls, Kohl’s, Old Navy, Best Buy, Office Depot, Office Max, and Staples have frequent tax free weekend sales and back to school tax holiday promotions.

– Computers and computer peripheral devices priced at $1,500 or less per item.
– Computer software items priced at $350 or less per item.
– Graphing calculators priced at $150 or less per item.

Many stores will be having special back to school sales on eligible items in conjunction with the sales tax holiday.
