Nobody looks forward to Tax Day. More people should. Tax Day is a great opportunity for restaurant deals and promotions. Cici’s Pizza is offering their adult buffet for just $4.15. Just present this coupon to your server and get the deal. Regular price in my area is $5.99, so this represents savings of 30%!

For just $4.15, you get all the pizza, pasta, dessert pizza, and cheese sticks you can handle. The only catch is, this deal is available exclusively on April 15. Fortunately, Tax Day only happens once per year. Unfortunately, so does this Cici’s promotion. Mark your calendars, show up on 4/15, and pay $4.15. How’s that for a “simple deduction?”

White Castle Tax Day Coupon Save 15%

White Castle celebrates the end of tax season with 15% off your entire order! Choose your Castle favorites, then present this coupon to your server to get the deal! Fortunately, Tax Day only happens once per year. Now that you’ve finally finished and submitted your tax returns (you DID file your taxes, right?), treat yourself to the great taste of White Castle and save 15% on your entire order with this coupon.

Post Offices Open Late Until Midnight Tax Day?

Is your local Post Office open late on Tax Day 2024? Does the Post Office offer extended hours and/or a midnight pickup on Monday, April 15? Don’t count on it!

Gone are the days when workers stood outside Post Offices with mail sacks, collecting last-minute tax returns up to the 12:00AM midnight Tax Day deadline. This year, many Post Offices have normal hours of operation.

According to the IRS, most taxpayers now file their returns electronically. Because of this, there isn’t nearly as big of a need for Post Offices to stay open late on Tax Day as there used to be. Factor in the recent budget-cutting measures which are closing locations and cutting hours, and you can understand why most Post Offices are no longer open late or until midnight on Tax Day.

Best advice? File your tax return electronically. If that’s not possible, be sure to get to the Post Office during their regular business hours. If all else fails and you’re not going to make it by closing time, search online for a Post Office that has extended hours. Some Post Offices are still open late on Tax Day, but that number becomes smaller every year.

McDonald’s Tax Day $1.00 Big Mac

McDonald’s is great for Tax Day deals. In past years, they have offered Buy One Get One Free Big Macs. Sometimes, it was Buy One Get One for a Penny. Occasionally, the Quarter Pounder with Cheese was included. This year, I was getting a bit concerned. So close to Tax Day, but no word from Micky D’s. Then, it found me!

I turned on my phone this morning and found a $1 Big Mac special on the McDonald’s mobile app! Just one dollar buys you lunch today. You do not need to use mobile ordering, but you do need to have the app installed on your phone. When you access the $1 Big Mac coupon, it will give you the option to scan at restaurant or add to mobile order. Also, this deal is only available from 11:00AM-2:00PM. How’s that for a happy Tax Day “deduction?”
